Altec Lansing

So here they are! The Altec Iconic Valencia speakers from the 60's that I acquired to my possession last week from Sweden. Beautiful aren't they!

The speakers are in really good shape. They are also quite sensitive and despite of the 15" bass driver they do not go very deep. But they have some real lifelike authority and feel in them, like you are listening the actual performance when it has been recorded not only some cheap copy of the original situation.

So now have Garrard as a source also from the 60's, and Altecs and Yamahas as loudspeakers from the 60's and 70's respectively. I guess now have to start looking for some suitable vintage amplification as well.. ;)
