Whippet Lady's Album

When I was little, the family camera was a 'box brownie'. This camera had several drawbacks. The viewfinder showed the subject upside down, which made it difficult to frame a picture, this was exacerbated by having to hold it at arm's length. It only took black and white photos. I remember my mother had a set of special paints that she used to try to bring more life to the prints (although I quite like black and white myself!). I have tried, with limited success, to reproduce some of that effect in this image.
