Malarkey

After an enjoyable morning with my putty knife, went down to get the boats from yesterday's jaunt across to their moorings. It was still breezy so five of us toured the harbour checking that all was well - just as well as we found that Malarkey, a 7m yacht, had come adrift and was scraping against boulders in the West Harbour. What excitement. The boys gallantly got a line aboard and got her pulled off. Real derring do.
Meanwhile in France, the son's debit card has stopped working, and he's lonely and missing his guitar. As for me, I've piles of enjoyable reading to get through but I know the eyelids will begin to feel heavy if I go down that road. The laptop is a great thing.
