Goodnight Escanaba

We left home, driving northeast, at 1:30pm. At roughly 7:30pm (counting a time change of +1 hour) we said goodnight to the infamous Escanaba in the UP of Michigan en route to our final destination, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We arrived around 9:00pm ready to camp despite the National Weather Services weather advisories. That's when things got intereting...
