Bye Bye Birdie

The oppressive wind and rain relented long enough this evening for me to venture out without waterproofs. Looks like a hundred or so members of the local avian community are also sick of this weather and are on a six month vacation to the Azores.... see you next year guys (unless my speculative bird migration knowledge is entirely wrong and they are in fact flying over to Finland for a cheeky sauna break)
