Rietveld-Schroederhuis, Utrecht

Working on the architecture assignment this week, this is 'Het Rietveld-Schroederhuis' in Utrecht. Unfortunately, I didn't get lucky on the weather and it stayed grey and overcast.

However, this is one of my favorite architectural buildings. I used to cycle past it almost everyday on my way to college and was always impressed. Not only because it is so completely different to the buildings that surround it (typical brown brick houses of the 20's), but also because of the strong lines and colour accents.
