Dean's Shortbread Factory, Huntly

You know how it is - you don't go near the place for months, and then suddenly you're scheduled for two meetings there in as many days.

Today we move from the pale 1960s blue of the erstwhile British Railways' Scottish Region, to the vibrant red hue of today's shortbread scene.

(I have to add at this point, neither of the above meetings involved Dean's - I simply retreated to the cafe in their visitor centre afterwards on both occasions.)

Even the cars in the car park echoed the bright scarlet red of the shortbread factory (there were at least two more, in addition to the one seen here). Were they company cars? Or those of visitors, their colours chosen in loyal tribute to the local family firm?
