Whoop, whoop.........

...........what a magnificent day, makes me feel happy happy.

I very busy day, so decided I would blip early avi (us New Zealanders can only load from midday) rather than later in the afternoon. I went outside to do yet another garden flower or similar and spied the two puss's lying on the outdoor table, sunbathing for a better word....I think they also appreciate this spring weather. Fergus is on the left (three legs) and Polly (the wingher) on the right.

Now, why am I so busy this afternoon....

My workplace, Physiocentre, has many clients naturally, but a high percentage at this time of the year are rugby players. Sadly, one of our clients and friend to many was killed tragically in a road accident a couple of months ago. He was a Saoman boy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and taken at too young a age.

The Celtic Rugby Club who he played for organised a auction to help raise funds to reimburse many kind souls who paid for his body & many close friends to return to Samoa for his funeral. They raised $25,000 & what isn't used is going to his village for whatever they see fit.

Physiocentre decided to do their bit also - we offered to pay for & host a dinner party for 8 people - the highest bid was $1,000.00. This dinner is taking place tomorrow night.

Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) we know the 8 people well, and will be a hoot, but for that kind of coin it has to be a classy affair.

I'm doing entree - Salmon steak on a tossed salad with Sesame Ginger Dressing & Lemon Posset for dessert ....both are fantastic. I have to do some shopping and the preparation today.
