Thereby hangs a tale!

This is a 14" desk fan I've had for more than six years now, every year it's been a boon in this small room where my PC is situated, keeping me cool enough in the heat of Summer..I only just realised today, this is the first year I've never needed to switch it on! Whatever happened to Global warming?
