Fishing

Today I went fishing, something I'd never done before.

My father-in-law is a serious fisher so he provided the equipment and taught me what to do.

I've always associated this type of fishing with simpler times, like the Famous Five books (that's why I chose the old photo look for the blip), and I wasn't disappointed. It was quite relaxing, just standing there, minding the cane and appreciating the scenary.

In the end, only one fish was caught (by myself - begginer's luck!) and returned to the river when we left.
