Nature at its best

look carefully.... can you see the lil fly thats taking a rest too?

Took a number of pictures in the garden today but this one stood out the most, gorgeous colours and captured two insects for one;) we all like to get double the amount for our time and money don't we.

Though this flower thats in the image i've failed to discover what it is. When i first moved into this house 4 years ago it covered! the back garden. Now it just appears every now and again where we've been getting around to sorting it all out. It gets about 12"inches high.


Just spending time with the family today and looking forward to sitting down and watching merlin tonight! we all love that.


Edited to say i've found what the flowers are! Fox-and-cubs - Hieracium aurantiacum, also known as the devils paintbrush and orange hawkweed. A very hardy wildflower LOL it is that indeed!
