We went to visit Laura in Hull to wish her a happy 30th birthday. Laura does NOT want to be 30!

It was the Hull freedom festival which involved french street theatre - giant inflatable puppets, one of which had tiger heads as breasts - bit odd. The fireworks were rrrrrather good though. This is Laura adjusting the settings on her camera as giant inflatable tiger breasted puppets saunter past her.

Then we headed off home at about half eleven. Then Mr B topped the diesel car up with petrol. Then I worked hard on not going mental but failed. Then we sorted the problem and drove home in a slightly frosty silence.

It's never dull in Hull.
