This is the Matthew - a replica of John Cabot's ship that took him to discover Newfoundland. Bristol Cathedral is in the background and Cabot's Tower (lookout) is above left. She looks so happy to be without her dragon head and tail (see September 9th). The tourists aboard obviously didn't pay to fire the outrageously noisy cannon - or maybe it couldn't be done because the Organic Food Fair was still running.
