Just Ask

I grabbed the camera and headed out the door as I announced "I need a blip." Although it's been a beautiful sunny day I've been feeling gloomy because summer's ending. Silly. I'd only gotten as far as the front yard when I found the sedum abuzz with the bees I've been missing all summer and this red admiral in full regalia.

The exposure was imperfect but that's what Photoshop is for! I get to enjoy taking the picture and I get to enjoy tweaking the picture. All I needed was a curves adjustment and some cropping.
