Little Charlie has had a bad finger since last week with something black stuck in it, maybe a splinter or bit of insect. It got so red and swollen I took him to the minor injuries unit today. He was so brave as they had to open it up with a needle then put some cream on to draw the thing out. After they dressed and bandaged it up, the medic put a spider sticker on for bravery.
