Scotland...

There was a much prettier church than this on today's expedition, a gorgeous, magnificent and breathtaking structure.
More amazing given that I fell across it in the middle of nowhere.
Hence it amazes me how much work, effort, passion must have been put into these buildings at one time ... even for the smallest, remotest of communities.

Ok, so there could follow an infinate debate about religion, cash, power control etc etc ... but lets not go there just now, ok ?

The reason I chose this simpler, more modest example ... well, because I did.
No regrets.

(ah, 1 regret ... I should have had a bigger brolly, ruined several otherise perfect captures due to 'rain on lens' syndrome.)
