Steak Pie

The cold has set in. Early. Can we not just get a few more weeks of warmth? Days even?

I've got the slow cooker out tonight to make some steak pie for tomorrow night. That seems to me like winter comfort food.

Settled down to watch tonight's Battle of Britain. Which was more the wee boys hiding behind the teacher so they don't get battered. There's 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
