Newark Bay at Langa Taing

A walk around Pool of Cletts and Newark Bay at Eastside, South Ronaldsay. Protected somewhat from the westerly near-gale, I walked along the shore and up to the headland on the right, Bigore Head.

Lots of small waders along the shore; turnstones, ringed plover, and snipe, as well as a couple of red-throated divers.

A lot of old fishing nets, boxes etc had been cleared away, but from somewhere had appeared a computer monitor of all things. I couldn't exactly remove it being on foot. I photographed it and a seal watched me.
