Once years ago I was in Switzerland at a conference and I found this chocolate shop that made these- the outside was painted marzipan, and the inside shiny chocolate- they were exquisite, and would have made a lovely gift.

Sadly they were delicious, and everyone got airport toblerone.

And this is a bog standard conker.

Now all I feel when I see conkers is a vague craving for marzipan.
