Bergennia

I played around with a few things today, and then settled to photograph this flower, as I was not happy with other images I had taken. Even this Bergennia flower was not looking the way I had wanted. In the end I decided that I had spent enough time on it, and I would make it B&W. It is a white flower anyway. It really is a shame to take colour out of nature, but I rest my case.
Went out to the airport this afternoon to welcome back Dups and Rob, and Rainie and Doug were also there to welcome them and transport them back to Timaru. It was good to catch up with the Timaru friends.

Had second thoughts and did not like the B&W, so have added some colour to it
