I can't quite put my finger on why, but for some reason I find it questionable when a mother allows her 4 year old son to carve his own pumpkin... perhaps it is because I myself have trouble controling the little saw tool for pumpkin carving and have a hard time believing that a 4-year old is capable of steadying his hand more so than I am.
