Their big moment!

And it was only a moment.

The mini rugby team I coach and Speedy plays for were invited to play during half time at Firhill in Glasgow.
Glasgow Warriors were playing Connacht (boo hiss they lost 17:19) and we were to be the half time entertainment.

We had 8 minutes to play but Speedy broke one of the opposition in the first period of play (with a perfectly reasonable tackle I hasten to add) which seemed to take an age to sort out.

No tries scored in the few minutes left but they played well and enjoyed the occasion. Hoping we might get asked again later on in the season!
