I tend to opt for the older, less reliable elevators at the hospital. They have more character and occasionally present me with a surprise adventure, especially when they decide not to stop at my desired floor, and I end up taking the stairs so my destination.

Plus, if I'm lucky I sometimes get to ride with a nurse and her unconscious patient in his or her roll-ie bed.
