The ex-bud

This is the bloom that came from the bud of a couple of days ago.

Today was one of those days when everything I saw was worth a blip!
I narrowed it down to about forty when I got them onto my pc, and the final decision was made by my son, Chris, who encouraged me to put the rose bud on in the first place.
It could have been a squirrel on my parent's garage roof, the dawn breaking as I took my dog, Heidi, for a walk, or some fantastically colourful stalls at a continental market I visited today, but the rose has won again...!
My only regret was that as I drove home, the sunset was amazing, but you aren't allowed to stop and blip on the M6, are you?!
