Bake Oven Knob

Today was such a gorgeous day that we decided to take a drive to Bake Oven Knob. The trail here is part of the Appalachian trail and can be a little stenuous. It starts out fine, but gradually gets very rocky until you reach the top. This view from the top is of the bird counters. During the migratory seasons volunteers come up here and count the birds that fly past here on their way to their winter homes.
