Buell

First Day on Driving Range.

Training started with 11 participants (Malissa, I, Kim, Janeen, Donald, Aaron, Ajay, Bob [Harsha], Steve, Bertha, Sharon) & Two Instructors "Tim" & "Dug" @ 0700 hrs.

After initial instructions all started in a single lane... "Bertha" was the first one to loose control and dropped the 360lb hog while performing POWER WALK but could manage to come out without any injury; so could the "Jeneen".

During WAVY MOVE "Bob" released the Clutch very quickly which resulted in an uncontrolled situation and ended up having his left foot under the hog (luckily no injuries).

"Don" slammed the front breaks too hard causing to lock the front wheel and had a very bad fall (luckily no injuries).

"Kim" was doing just fine but during "CALIFORNIA STOP" she couldn't manage the hog; she fell down & machine spilled lot of GAS all over her feet.

With little or little more difficulties rest of the folks were just doing fine.

After 3rd Exercise Jeneen & "Melissa" complained about finger cramps and decided to drop for the rest of the training (they'll be completing their training later in the month of Oct).

After all the Range exercises while taking the bike off the ground "Kim" had another bike fall on her which made her feel nauseous, this went worse as she got some heat exhaustion and decided to drop for the day :(

Rest of the 8 folks will continue the remaining training tomorrow @0700 hrs with lot more exercises. Hope no one else gets hurt tomorrow.

I've driven bikes for years in India but driving these bulky bikes @ such high speed is completely different experience altogether.
