Two Left Hands

Sunday Sunset

After youth group this evening I took a wander down to South Norwood Lake. This is a man-made lake which was originally created to supply water to the Croydon Canal. The canal was drained and replaced with a railway line many years ago, but the lake remains as a little oasis of calm, tucked away between the railway and the main road.

There are lots of birds to spot, I saw cormorants, coots, moorhens, mallard ducks, swans and the ubiquitous South London parakeets, but it's this sunset photo that caught my eye.
