horrible chroma noise even at ISO 100

Quite a few things crossed off the list, therefore success, even if one of them just eventually involved resorting to Google's cached pages when all my external drives turned out to not contain what I was looking for. Fortunately I didn't add the acquisition of two relatively simple grocery-items to the list as it would have resulted in two extra uncrossed-out lines thanks to the volatile stock-whims of those who determine which branches of their shop will stock which thing, possibly in conjunction with the people who decide that the smaller and more useless branches will open much later than the larger versions.
