Thatched window

I have recently moved to 15th century cottage, its not entirely clear when it was build, somewhere between the Black Death (1350ish) and 1500. Still, the point is its much older than the last place which was eight years old, and a lot flimsier!

There are so many great things about the new home, one of which is the almost endless opportunities for photos. This is one of my bedroom windows.
I have not been much of a contributer to this site to date but hopefully that will change. There's much to do in the overgrown and shaggy garden and this will be great way to document those changes.
