Record Collector

This is the frontage of The Record Collector in Sheffield. It's just down the road from where I live and has been there since I first came to Sheffield as a student in 1986. It's one of the few shops to have stayed all that time and now must be one of only a handful of independent record shops in Sheffield and, indeed, in the country. I frequented it lots as a student, less so now in the days of ebay and Spotify, and I expect it will be used by these students walking past. They have descended en masse over the weekend. Today there were more students in the hardware shop than the record shop - plates and clothes driers seemed to be popular purchases.
