New Music

Today in chorale we learned two new songs! They are Songs of Sanctuary by Karl Jenkins and Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre. Lux is very relaxing and uses a lot of sounds which produce overtones to give a very full sound, it really is awesome and I can't wait for us to have it completed. The other song is just a whole lot of fun! It sounds like something you would here on an African safari or something but I like it a lot.

After the class was over, about 40 members of the chorale went over to the Mahwah Bar & Grill for some wings. Apparently they do this every Monday so I'm really looking forward to that.
