(Cake) Stand and Deliver

Not a very inspired picture today.

We've been planning my mother's 60th birthday party and, as my sister-in-law and I are avid bakers, there will be a cake/tea party element to it. We've been trying to find cheap cake stands from charity shops but they seem to be in short supply (damn The Great British Bake Off for getting everyone on our bandwagon!) so at lunchtime today we found a bunch of old china in charity shops and decided we'd improvise. Here's my effort, I rather like it.
