holy finch!

I have been so terrible for taking photos lately, and even terribler for uploading them on time, but today I actually have a photo, that I actually took today!

So we put this feeder up months ago, with seeds specifically to attract goldfinches. It may have taken a wee while but here I'm happy to say that we have two new finchy residents. I came across a 'Scarlet Rosefinch' on the RSPB site yesterday, has anyone seen any of these? Their colouration is wonderful.
