first time ...

...I've really taken the tele-zoom out for an extended session. It's a strange and wonderful beast. canon 70-210 f4, a push-pull type zoom, the first auto-focus tele-zoom canon produced (mine's from way back in '87, when digital cams were far beyond the horizon). It's quite sharp. focus is kinda slow (big noisy clunky), far from the USM's that anything new will have. and no image stabilization. but that being said, it's really fun to finally have such a long reach.

would have never gotten in the face of sleeping homeless park dwellers without it.
