Cream Crackered

The old fibre-cement slates are as brittle as cream crackers. Just putting your hand down to move around is enough to crack some of them. I'm only replacing half though because I'm being tight and I have managed to scrap less than a quarter of them. Plus the neighbour only replaced about half of his so if and when he realises his mistake I'll redo my side. But I think it'll be okay for a good few years yet.
The kids seem to think the scaffold tower is a climbing frame - which is bloody annoying at times. I feel cream-crackered and am off to open a beer.
