Autumn sunshine and showers

Abbie in a good mood...
Typical autumn weather, lots of big clouds, the occasional down poor and some gorgeous sunshine to be had today.

Bert came back from Stockholm (via Helsinki) late last night and we didn't see much of him today either. He had a day long fencing workshop in Kasteel d'Ursel. They were supposed to do the fencing in the grounds of the castle. I thought that would make for a fantastic shot, so combining the photo opportunity with seeing Bert for lunch made us get in the car to the castle as well. Unfortunately the weather was too unpredictable to have the workshop outside and it was moved to a little hall behind the village pub (far too crowded and dark to take any nice shot) and the lunch was not to be shared with non-fencers. However, the girls and I spent a nice while in the grounds of the castle and had slightly strange lunch of apples, bananas and doughnuts for lunch in the back of the car as it started to rain again.
