Queen Victoria at Royal Holloway College

Founded by a Victorian patent medicine magnet Royal Holloway College near Runnymede in Surrey was opened by Queen Victoria. A pioneering college for women it has been co-ed for many years. The Founders building is a masterpiece of late victorian architecture with this statue of the Queen Empress inside the entrance.
