The wind is your worst enemy, they say...

After we arrived in Puerto Madryn in the morning and checked into our hostel, which must have been the cleanest hostel I've ever seen, we walked a bit around Puerto Madryn and found some tours to Peninsula Valdes and Punto Tombo for the upcoming days.

For today we decided to mountainbike to punta Loma, where we spotted sealions. After not having been on a bike for two months, this Dutch girl was happy to sit on one again. Okay, it's quite different from my bike back home as this was a mountainbike, had breaks that actually work. The environment is also quite different as there were hills, although not enormously high. One thing that is said is when biking in Patagonia, the wind is your worst enemy. We don't agree, our worst enemy for the bicicleta de mierda from one of my friends. We must have spend almost an hour in total - or at least it felt like it - trying to get her chain back on her bike because it fell of many times. In the end the only reason it didn't anymore was because we kept it in the same gear.
