How many times in the not too distant pass have I tripped over these guitars?
Found them propped against a wall, behind a door, greedily taking all the spaces on the sofa. Accidentally brushed passed to hear them sliding to the floor with a unmusical bang.
Heard the music coming from a distance, right by me ear 'till I'm screaming 'Stop!' or 'Shut that door!'
Heard Emily play the same tune over and over and over again (Pete Docherty)
Laughing all together as we take it in turns to make up lyrics, the ruder the better.

Now they remain in their stands silent , still with their fingerprints and smears on them
Every so often I remember and today is one of those days.
