Duck Soup

A restorative brunch at the Kings Wark, a wander in glorious Autumn sunshine around the Botanic Gardens and then sweet hot coffee sitting at the harbour listening to the boats clink...pretty much a perfect Sunday.

The pond down by the east gate at the Botanics is absolutely covered in this fine green algae. It was so funny watching the ducks leaving dark trails as they ploughed through it. At first I thought this shot was a mistake, due to the grainy feel, but when I looked closer I realised it was the algae - weird effect!
