Today I've been the little engine that could, unable to leave my faltering laptop alone. Airport is malfunctioning so I can't get a signal on the laptop, which means I can't settle to writing or even commenting because I can't do either without a view - there's no view from the main computer, so that's 'work.'

Aargh! I have driven myself nuts and wasted a perfectly glorious autumn day returning to it again and again saying 'If I try this, and this, or maybe this ....' endlessly. My perseverance, often a blessing, was today a bane. Poobah.

Mac only offer iPod and iPhone support on Sunday - what's that about?
