The Protein Man

I visited the Museum of London today and was delighted to find the Protein Man's placard and leaflets preserved there. Stanley Green was one of our great British eccentrics and a part of the London scene of my youth. I was always intrigued by the adjunct "...and sitting". It gave me quite a jolt to see this sign again as I had forgotten about him.
Then the nostalgia quotient went through the roof when I also spotted a couple of albums I used to own in a nearby display on the 1960's: Disraeli Gears by Cream and Sunny Afternoon by The Kinks.
