"Daddy, will you wake me up when you go get the paper in the morning?"

...the last words I heard from my daughter last night at bedtime.

It has become a Sunday morning tradition for my husband and daughter to "read" the paper each Sunday. She likes to look at the "cartoons," and he likes to read the news while browsing the ads for whatever it is we don't need :)

I quickly grabbed this photo when they returned back to the house this morning. Technically, the image is quite miserable: the light is definitely less than perfect, the image is noisy as all get out, and contrasty as h*ll.

But, it's the sleepy eyes, the downward turn of her head, and the slight smile that make it absolutely perfect to me.
