Working late

Miserable drizzly day today, and I'd brought my lunch in with me so I just couldn't summon up the will to go for my usual walk.

I've found through bitter experience that if I leave at 5 - 5.30 pm the traffic is horrendous and it can take me 90 minutes plus to drive the 26 miles home. So occasionally I'll leave at 4.30 pm but mostly I work on till 6.30 or 7 - it still takes an hour to get home but is nowhere near as annoyingly stressful.

Mine wasn't quite the last car in the car park, but it did look very lonely....

But I got home in time to watch the Gadget Show and I'm working from home tomorrow with the benefit of a lie-in and no commute - so it's not really all that bad!
