Enduring

From beginning to end, our story is written. So constantly tempting it is, to stop and evaluate "what we have become" when, until our life is finished, we are still a life in the making. One by one, here a layer, there a layer. Seeking firm foundation and good stout ingredients, we endeavor to build something that will last and, we pray, will serve generations to come.

This wall, as it stands the test of time, right in the center of Coos Bay, reminds me how important it is that we use the best ingredients and the most patient, diligent care to build on our yesterdays, while praying that when we are no longer here, we have left something that will support the next generations tomorrows.
