sweet pea pod

found some sweet peas... a few in bloom - about to bloom and then just the pods, like this one.... how cool is that? my ever expanding playground and the continued feeling that summer has not ended... yay! i am sure that the rough reality of fall and colder days will hit soon enough. but until then i am enjoying finding little gems like this to experiment with...

ahhh...it's friday again and time for the weekend. i have a long to-do list of errands and clean-up around the house. who doesn't? at this point, i don't really care if it all gets done.... i'm sure that will change come sunday...
