Celebrate

Today was the day (well night) of my niece's surprise 21st birthday party which, after a lot of careful planning, little white lies and the diversion of any awkward questions, went off like a dream. She was very emotional (not helped by the fact that she is six months pregnant and her hormones are raging) but was so very grateful to the huge amount of people who turned up to celebrate with her. she looked simply radiant and was absolutely glowing. My sister had this cake made with a picture of my niece as a baby and it looked just magical when the candles were lit. A great night was had by all and it was well worth the gruelling eight hour motorway journey we endured to be there (see yesterdays entry)!!!
