Wawel

Second day of my weekend trip to Krakow.

Weather was perfect for spending the day out. We did more walking including climbing the hill where the Wawel (royal castle) is situated.

It was so nice we got back for tea and drink to the New Market in Kazimierz once again. Walked through the flea market which was still packed in the sunny afternoon.

Time for taking train back came really fast and... it was some experience! We got tickets in the cheap train and ended up (literally) hunting for sitting place. We were lucky unlike loads of other people who travelled back to Warsaw standing (for over 3 hours!). It was like going back in time to the 80ties. Had no idea trains like that still work.

Exhausted but happy got back home late in the evening and straight to bed...
