Don't forget.

I had a father that served in WWII and a grandfather that served in WWI.

Both survived fairly unscathed, my grandfather managing to miraculously survive the Battle of the Somme.

How apt also that it is my 365 Blip today and looking back it has been a remarkable year.

I don't profess to being and expert photographer, and indeed a look back over my pervious Blips proves this.

This is also the first time that I have ever mamaned to keep a journal of any description beyound mid January, so thanks red for introducing me to this wonderful place, and a big thank you to everyone who has bothered to look and comment.
