Game On

Went to the 'Game On' exhibition tonight in the Ambassador Theatre in Dublin. Childhood memories came flooding back. They had a great selection of old arcade games and consoles. Donkey Kong, Missile Command, Pac-Man, Star Wars etc.

Speak & Spell though, holds a big place in my heart. I loved it as a child I played it all the time. The voice was cool I thought, proper robot. It helped me when my parents divorced. As a child we moved back to Ireland from England. I was top of the class at spelling. No joke. I could spell 'refrigerator' before anyone else. Not sure if it helped me to make friends.
